By registering on Mount Olympus Nintendo Forums, you accept that you will follow all of these rules and all terms of service by Mount Olympus and Zetaboards. Note: We are given the right to suspend, ban, or edit your account without warning or explanation. Rule #1. Spamming Spamming (Spam = Stupid, pointless, annoying, messages) is when you use either a small amount of words in your post or you just say random gibberish. Spamming will not be permitted. Ex of a spam post: Hi (End Post) One eyed jigglypuffs come from space and eat people (End post) Use some logic. Rule #2 Flaming/Profanity Please keep flaming and profanity to as low as possible as some members find it hurtful. Though it is allowed, you may not continuously curse/flame. Although, the c-box contains a default filter (which cannot be taken off) that will block out most curse words for members who find it offensive. Rule #3 Forbidden Topics Items involving... -Pornography/Hentai -Racism -Material that affects others computers. (Viruses) -Personal Information (Please do not give out any of your personal information as your address,phone number or ect. If anything only your name not your last name. We are not responsible for damages done if you give your personal information out to a member on our site.) -Emulator and ROM discussion. -Flash Card Discussion -Advertising (Advertising other sites than our affiliates is prohibited.) This includes mentioning or talking about other forums or chat sites on the Cbox or Forums. If you wish to talk about them, use the PM (Personal Message) System. However, you are not allowed to advertise your forums to members using the PM system, unless they have asked. Rule #4 Backseat Moderating Please let Administrators and Moderators do their job by taking care of spam posts and ect. If you find such posts you can use the report button or you can PM the admin or moderator with the url to the page that has the offense. Rule #5 Scamming/Cheating Scamming and cheating on Mount Olympus is strictly forbidden. Things created by hacking devices are not permitted for trade here. Rule #6 © Rule/Plagarism If you copyright something on MONF it is property for your use here or on any other site YOU want to use it on. Protect your work by ©. Do not plagiarize our work. For MO members... Do not steal OTHERS work either, if you do you will be banned and not welcome back here. Give proper credit. Rule #7 Forum and CBox Accounts You are allowed to have one Forum and CBox account. Do not make any extra accounts, as this is prohibited. Do not share your accounts (Forum and Cbox). If others wish to post on the Forums and chat on the CBox, have them create their own Accounts. Rule #8 Bans If you are Banned from MO, you are instructed not to return. It means you are unwanted and you broke some rules of some kind. Rule #9 Obey staff! When an admin or a moderator instructs you to do something, LISTEN. If you do not listen, your punishment can be severe. Rule #10 Impersonating a Member/Staff Member Impersonating a staff member will be an instant ban on sight. Impersonating another member will most likely have the same consequence. Rule #11 Displays You are allowed to use an Avatar and signature to represent yourself on the Forum and the CBox each. However, they must abide by Rule #3, in that they must not contain any inappropriate content. Please be reasonable in your selection, and note that this is a Nintendo Forum, not anything else. Failure to abide will result in your changing of the display picture immediately or further consequences. Rule #12 Bumping/Necromancy "Bumping" Topics is permitted every 48 hours. What is "Bumping"? Bumping is when you reply in a topic to make it the first topic that appears in the current forum. Necromancer however is a different story. Necromancy is when you reply in a topic that is older then 30 days old. However, we are no longer dealing punishments for committing necromancy, it is frowned upon. It is much better to create a new fresh topic about the subject. C-box Rules Rule #1 All of the MONF rules are to be followed on the c-box, as the c-box is mentioned several times during the regular rules.
